Mobile Software Engineer
Shutterous is looking for a freelance mobile software engineer to assist us in building an exciting vertically-targeted photo-sharing site. We are quickly moving to a model of driving commerce and have a significant amount of positive feedback from a variety of industry sources. What we don’t have today is all of the development bandwidth we need to bring the product to market quickly. We will consider talented engineers of all experience levels, but have a few basic requirements:
Proven experience developing on iOS
- Ideally, this means an application we can see and use
- Experience using low-level iOS APIs to implement a user interface
Ability to take a concept, determine the missing pieces, seek further information and deliver
Web Development is a plus
- Ruby on Rails
- JavaScript
- HTML5/CSS3
Experience on Android or Windows Phone is a plus.
- The value of this application hinges on mobile support for all of the major platforms. We’ll need to quickly move to new platforms and new devices.
